Statkraft Energi (100%)
Statkraft Energi AS is wholly owned by Statkraft AS. The company owns and operates hydropower plants in Norway, and engages in trading with power and power-related products in the Nordic region. In 2009, Statkraft Energi AS generated 47 per cent of the Statkraft Group's gross revenues. Statkraft Energi AS also owns 66.7 per cent of Baltic Cable AB, which is headquartered in Malmö, Sweden Baltic Cable AB operates a subsea power transmission cable between Sweden and Germany.

Skagerak Energi (66.62%)
Statkraft owns 66.62 per cent of Skagerak Energi. The company is one of Norway's leading energy companies with an annual mean production of 5400 GWh. The company also operates the regional and distribution grids in Vestfold County and the Grenland region. The company has 178 000 grid customers, 850 employees and the 2009 turnover amounted to NOK 2.7 billion. Skagerak also engages in other activities through the subsidiaries Skagerak Elektro, Skagerak Fibernett, Skagerak Varme, as well as Metor and Skagerak Naturgass. Through Skagerak Fibernett, the company has implemented a comprehensive development of fibre optic networks to offer high-speed broadband services to people in the Grenland region and Vestfold County. The other owners are the municipalities in the Grenland region. The main office is located in Porsgrunn. Skagerak owns 48 per cent of Fjordkraft, Norway's second largest power sales company.

SN Power (60%)
SN Power (Statkraft Norfund Power Invest AS) was established in 2002, and is currently owned by Statkraft and Norfund on a 60/40 basis.
Norfund is a leading Norwegian risk capital investor in emerging markets, funded by the Norwegian Government.
SN Power’ s business objective is to become a leading hydropower company in emerging markets, contributing to economic growth and sustainable development. Trondheim Energi (100%)
Trondheim Energi is wholly owned by Statkraft Holding AS, and has several subsidiaries. All subsidiaries are wholly owned by the parent company Trondheim Energi AS. Trondheim Energi has a turnover of NOK 2.4 billion and approx. 350 employees.
The company is part of the Statkraft Group. In addition to the Trondheim Energi companies, Statkraft has extensive activities in Trondheim within energy trading and innovation/R&D.
Statkraft Agder Energi Vind (62%)
SAE Vind is Statkraft's and Agder Energi's joint venture in land-based wind power in Norway. SAE Vind is Norway's leading wind power company.
SAE Vind will be a driving force in ensuring the development of wind power to achieve climate-related improvements, higher supply safety and growth. The industrial opportunities related to increased investments in wind power will be substantial.
SAE Vind is and will be Norway's leading company within land-based wind power. SAE Vind will develop, build, operate and maintain wind farms throughout the country. The objective is to realise 1500 MW of wind power within 2020 – four times the current installed wind power capacity in Norway. 1500 MW will generate about 4 TWh a year, enough to cover the power consumption of about 200 000 households. SAE Vind's main office lies in Kristiansand.

Fjordkraft (51.15%)
Statkraft owns 59 per cent of the shares in Fjordkraft through BKK, Skagerak Energi and Statkraft Regional Holding. Fjordkraft sells electricity to 320 000 customers all over Norway. The activities include purchasing, sales and portfolio management of electricity for households, municipalities, public and private companies.
Electricity sales in 2009 totalled 9.4 TWh, compared with 9.5 TWh in the preceding year. The company also sells energy services to own customers and power plants. Fjordkraft aims to be an electricity supplier which makes it easy to be an electricity customer.
On 1 January 2010, Fjordkraft AS acquired full ownership of Trondheim Energi Kraftsalg AS, which has about 80 000 electricity customers. Fjordkraft's main office is in Bergen, with regional offices in Sandefjord and Trondheim.

Småkraft
Småkraft is owned by Statkraft, Skagerak Energi, Trondheim Energi, Agder Energi and BKK. The company's objective is to build small-scale power plants in a profitable and environmentally considerate manner in cooperation with local landowners. The company's goal is a production capacity of 2.5 TWh, corresponding to the energy need of 125 000 Norwegian households and represents the largest investment in small power plants in Norwegian history. Småkraft's involvement in power projects encompasses all of Norway.
Naturkraft (50%)
Naturkraft is equally owned by Statoil and Statkraft. The company's main activities are ownership, maintenance and operation of the gas power plant at Kårstø in Tysvær Municipality. The power plant is connected to the gas processing plant in the same location, and is Norway's first commercial gas power plant.
