Statkraft

Serbia

The Balkan region is proven to be a growth market with an increasing demand for energy. The region has a potential for further development of energy projects and calls for international participation and investments. Statkraft has more than 100 years of experience from development and operation of renewable energy projects and is prepared to support such opportunities in the market place. This may either be by development of greenfield opportunities, acquisition of existing projects or by collaboration with local or international energy generation companies.

Statkraft is aiming to expand its leading position in the Western Balkans power market and to enlarge its business into neighboring countries, especially in South East Europe. The main task of the office is to pursue renewable energy projects opportunities in assigned area.

However, Statkraft Western Balkans is also set up to support and strengthen our position in electricity trading on a cross border level between Serbia and surrounding countries.

Statkraft has moved its offices

Statkraft Western Balkans d.o.o. was established in March 2007 and opened offices in Belgrade early April 2007. The first office was established in the GENEX Apartment building in new Belgrade, but it has now moved to Francuska 17 in the city centre. These offices are located close to the Trg Republike and in walking distance from the parking houses at Dragoslava Jovanovića  (vis a vis the Parliament) and the one on Obilićev Venac.
