Why Statkraft?
In Statkraft there is a common understanding that developing the people means that the company also develops. As employees we get multiple opportunities to develop our technical and managerial skills. In addition, Statkraft is a very dynamic multinational company.

What is your role today?

I am the Maintenance Manager of Kargı Hydropower Plant and super user for SAP PM in Turkey.

How is a typical day at work?

Every morning I perform daily routines, such as checking the notifications from SAP and creating and distributing relevant work orders. An important part of my role is to train the staff and give them feedback as they perform their work. As Kargi is a brand new plant with some start-up challenges, it is highly important to analyze the root cause of these issues. Moreover, I am establishing a spare part policy and follow up delivery of spare parts.

What motivates you?

Seeing that my development work and following up the people actually give results. I am also motivated by solving problems – finding new ways to change routines and seeing that my managers are aware of the actions that I take.
