Vision

Statkraft's vision is to meet the world's need for cleaner energy.

We have more than 100 years of experience from renewable power production in Norway, and through our recent expansion we are now Europe's largest producer of renewable energy. Considering the challenges the world is facing when it comes to both environment and energy, there is a great need for development of new clean power production. Statkraft's goal is to continue the growth in renewable energy production; in Norwy, Europe and the rest of the world.

The values we build on to strengthen our position is competence, responsibility and innovation.

Social responsibility

Statkraft is committed to a serious approach to social responsibility. We will promote sustainability, concern for the environment and responsibility in everything we do. Our corporate social responsibility policies apply to the group as a whole and to each individual employee.

Climate-friendly energy is our most important contribution to the environment. Presently, about 90% of our power production is based on renewable sources. Our continued growth will also be based on sustainable development.

Integrity is becoming increasingly important to Statkraft, as we continue to operate in new countries and cultures. We have clear ethical guidelines and procedures outlining our expectations to our employees and partners. Our goal is to train all employees in ethics and anti-corruption.
