Statkraft views Brazil as one of the key markets for growth in the coming years, based on renewable energy generation and market operations. Statkraft's presence in Brazil goes back to 2008, when our subsidiary SN Power established an office. Since 2014 we have been present as Statkraft.

In 2012, SN Power acquired a minority stake in the renewable energy company Statkraft Energias Renováveis S.A (former Desenvix). In 2015, Statkraft increased it's shareholding to 81.3% and integrated the company into Statkraft.
