The development in Aurlandsdalen is an intricate system of dams, tunnels and power stations. The same water is used several times as it passes through the different power stations on its way down from the high mountains to the fjord.

Aurland V (Reppa) power plant is a hydropower plant in Aurland in Sogn og Fjordane County. The power plant utilises water from the lakes Reppvatn and Kreklevatn and a gross head of 400 meters. Reppa started operations in 1983 and consists of one Francis turbine with an installed capacity of 9 MW.
