Bratsberg hydropower plant is located on the Nidelva river in Trondheim in Sør-Trøndelag County. The power plant utilises a gross head of 147 metres from the Selbusjøen reservoir. The transport tunnel is more than 12 kilometres long. The installed capacity is 124 MW.

The power plant started production in 1977. The power plant has two Francis turbines. The Løkaunet and Svean power plants exploit the water in the Nidelva river from lakes Selbusjøen/Bjørsjøen in parallel with Bratsberg power plant.
