Litjfossen is located in the Orkla watercourse in Tynset Municipality, Hedmark County. The power plant has a Francis turbine with an installed capacity of 74 MW and an annual average production of 160 GWh.
The power plant uses a gross height of fall of 290 metres from the intake reservoir Lake Innerdalsvatnet down to the Orkla River at Lake Storfossdammen. The regulating height of the dammed Lake Innerdalsvatnet is 35 metres. Water is also drawn from several stream intakes. The power plant was commissioned in 1982.
