Svean is a hydropower plant on the Nidelva river in Klæbu Municipality in Sør-Trøndelag County. The power plant utilises a gross head of 55 metres from the Selbusjøen reservoir. The three Francis turbines have an installed capacity of 27 MW. The power plant started production in 1939.

The Løkaunet and Bratsberg power plants use the water in the Nidelva river from lakes Selbusjøen/Bjørsjøen in parallel with Svean power plant.
