The plant consists of two biofuel boilers of 4 MW each with a shared flue gas condenser of 2 MW, as well as an oil boiler of 9 MW.
The old plant in Åmål consists of two biofuel boilers of 2 MW each, as well as two oil boilers of 4 MW and 6 MW.
The maximum output requirement in the remote heating grid is about 16.5 MW in the daytime, and the plant normally delivers about 38.5 GWh annually. The grid expands about 3 GWh annually.
