The district heating plant in Trosa in Tros Municipality in Södermanland County in Sweden consists of two biofuel boilers of 3 MW each, two flue gas condensers of 0.75 MW and one oil boiler of 5.5 MW. The maximum output requirement in the district heating grid is about 8 MW in the daytime, and the plant normally delivers about 18.5 GWh annually. The grid expands about 0.85 GWh annually.

The district heating facility in Vagnhärad in Trosa municipality presently has one pellets boiler rated 1.5 MW and one oil boiler rated 5 MW. It also has a solar cell plant of 270 square metres, corresponding to about 180 KW. The maximum output requirement in the remote heating grid is presently about 3.5 MW, and the plant delivers about 8 GWh annually. The grid expands about 0.15 GWh annually.
