Standard & Poor’s states that there is a “moderately high likelihood that the government will provide sufficient and timely extraordinary support to Statkraft in the event of a financial distressed situation”. Consequently, Statkraft is upgrade one notch on the rating agency’s scale. Simultaneously, Statkraft’s outlook is revised to “Negative”, reflecting expectations of a weakening of Statkraft’s risk profile due to its investment programme.
