This is the third time Statkraft organize an Osmosis membrane summit. The summit 2012 will be held in conjunction with the EDS conference on Desalination for the Environment – Clean Water and Energy at the Barcelona International Convention Centre (CCIB), Spain.

The 3rd Osmosis Membrane Summit will allow attendees to gain the most recent knowledge forward osmosis and pressure retarded osmosis. The attendees will also learn about the current status of research and commercialization efforts of these exciting new technologies.

Sharing of new knowledge

Statkraft is a global leader in the development of osmotic power. By hosting the Osmosis membrane summit’s Statkraft establish a meeting place for sharing the “state of the art” in technology and industrial development. The summit offers an opportunity to meet and network with key stakeholders such as research organizations, technology manufacturers, utilities and governmental representatives. The program focus on open sharing of new knowledge, challenges and results to jointly contribute to the further development and commercialization of osmotic power.
