About us
Statkraft Sverige AB is a fully owned subsidiary of Statkraft AS. Our focus areas include the operations and maintenance of hydropower plants in Sweden along with related water planning and management.
Statkraft Sverige AB was founded in 2005 based on an agreement with then Sydkraft concerning the purchase of 50% of Graninge’s total production. The acquisition involved a total of 19 hydropower plants with a normal average production of about 1.3 TWh.
Statkraft Sverige AB is grouped under Statkraft Region Nord and Regional Manager Bjarne Austrheim.
Our service providers
Administrative services such as ongoing accounting, human resources and payment of salaries are provided by Öhrlings PricewaterhouseCoopers of Stockholm.
Maintenance and operation at our hydropower plants in Sweden is mainly performed by service providers.
