Safety

Safety has top priority. Our target is zero injuries among employees, subcontractors, suppliers and partners. We will develop a safety culture through leadership, responsible involvement and continuous improvement. We will use risk assessments systematically as a tool to prevent accidents and injuries.

Measures include:

  1. Emergency response plan: Statkraft has prepared an emergency response plan whose objective is to ensure that any emergency situation is handled in a way that eliminates or reduces its negative impact on the group’s operations, and that a unified, coordinated and competent emergency response organisation and management team is quickly established.
  2. Safety courses for employees and subcontractors.
  3. One-on-one follow-up/ individual follow-up.
  4. “Safe Job Analysis” tool.
  5. Accident registration and reporting.
  6. Registration of hazardous conditions: The objective of this is to gain an overview of the conditions in which we work, as well as of accidents and near-misses, as a basis for implementing improvement measures.
  7. Security arrangements for plants, offices and property.
