An important principle for all HSE work in the Group is that HSE is integrated into everyday work with ordinary line-management responsibility. In addition, there is a HSE staff at Group level that is responsible for organising and monitoring HSE work throughout the Statkraft Group. There are also three important collaborating bodies:

1. The Working Environment Committee (AMU) with representatives from management, staff and the health and safety service 
2. Safety representatives selected from among the company’s employees
3. HSE groups that cover special technical technological or organisational areas
