Statkraft has also offices in Belgrade and London. Which are primarily looking for new project within renewable energy.

Statkraft owns and run 20 river power stations in Sweden and 4 in Finland.  In addition we run one hydropower station in Nepal and one in Laos.  

Statkraft build two gas power plants in Germany.  One (800 MW) is built in Knapsack outside Cologne and is owned 100 % by Statkraft.  We have 26 Statkraft employees working at this power plant. The other one (400MW) is built in cooperation with a local energy company - Mark E - and is located in Herdecke nearby Dortmund.

The future expansion of Statkraft’s business will mainly be in Europe within hydro power, gas, biomass and wind power.  We are currently looking at various European projects, which will require people with international experience from the energy sector.
