Task:  To measure the efficiency rate of one of Statkraft’s pump-storage power plants.

Qualifications:  Flow technology background.

 
2. Steel in hydropower turbines 

Task:  To analyse the different types of steel used in hydropower plants in Norway and abroad. 

Objective:  To analyse the use of steel with respect to strength, weldability, crack development, production, etc.

Qualifications:  Materials technology background.

 
3. Small-scale power plants

Task:  To identify opportunities for the construction of small-scale power plants in Region Central Norway.
