Social responsibility policy
The Statkraft Group’s policy for social responsibility defines the company’s and the individual employee’s responsibility for conducting business in a socially responsible manner.
- The Statkraft Group shall exercise social responsibility in performing its business and thereby promote the Group’s sustainable growth.
- The Statkraft Group shall aim to deliver sustainable energy solutions that contribute to solving global climate challenges.
- The Statkraft Group shall base its decisions on the fact that our activities deal with infrastructure that is critical for society and shall endeavour to achieve an appropriate degree of security of supply.
- The Statkraft Group shall be a constructive contributor in the societies where it is active and create value by offering environment-friendly and competitive products and services.
- The Statkraft Group shall act in accordance with the conventions for human rights to which Norway is a party.
- The Statkraft Group shall act in accordance with efficient business practice and the principle of free competition, including adopting a policy of zero-tolerance with regard to corruption and money laundering.
- The Statkraft Group shall display competence regarding society that ensures systematic innovation and responsibility with regard to all decisions and activities that affect society.
- The Statkraft Group shall collaborate with interest groups using inclusive, predictable and verifiable processes, and communicate the consequences our activities have for society openly, in compliance with requirements and on a timely basis.
- The Statkraft Group shall endeavour to ensure that customers, suppliers and business partners comply with the intentions that underlie our policies for social responsibility.
