New gas-fired power plant in Germany

Statkraft has obtained the approval for the construction and operation of one of the most modern combined cycle power plants. The power plant is planned to be completed early in 2013 and to be put into operation in mid 2013.

Eiriksdal and Makkoren

Statkraft is developing constructing two new power plants in the Høyanger-area: Eiriksdal and Makkoren. The plans, which include major environmental improvements from the existing power plant scheme, are a result of close dialogue with local authorities, environmental organizations and stakeholders.

Sheringham Shoal

The UK authorities have given Statkraft and Statoil the all-clear to build the UK’s fourth largest offshore wind farm 20 kilometres north of the coastal town of Sheringham. This diamond-shaped wind farm will cover approx. 35 square kilometres. It will comprise 88 wind turbines with a combined capacity of 318 MW.
StatoilHydro og Statkraft går sammen om å bygge havvindparken Sheringham Shoal utenfor kysten av Norfolk i Storbritannia. Vindparken skal bestå av 88 turbiner med en samlet installert kapasitet på 315 MW.

Kargi hydropower plant

Statkraft has started construction on the Kargi hydropower plant in Turkey. The power plant will be completed at the end of 2013 and will have an installed capacity of 102 MW, with annual average production of 467 GWH.

Statkraft SCA Vind AB

Statkraft owns 60% of the Statkraft SCA Vind AB company, which has applied for licences for six wind farms in forested areas in Sweden’s Jämtland and Västernorrland. The scope of the project extends to 1140 MW from 455 wind turbines, with an investment of the order of NOK 16 billion (Euro 1.6 billion).
