Gas-fired power plant in Germany

Statkraft obtained the approval for the construction and operation of one of the most modern combined cycle power plants in July 2011. The power plant is planned to be completed in late 2012 and to be put into commercial operation in mid 2013.

Cetin hydropower plant

Statkraft has started the construction of its third hydropower plant in Turkey, the Cetin hydropower plant. With a total installed capacity of 517 MW, Cetin will be the largest Statkraft hydropower plant outside Norway, delivering 1.4 TWh of clean, renewable energy annually.

Statkraft SCA Vind AB

Statkraft and SCA with licences for six wind farms in Sweden’s Jämtland and Västernorrland counties -four are under construction.

Kargi hydropower plant

Statkraft has started construction on the Kargi hydropower plant in Turkey. The power plant will be completed at the end of 2013 and will have an installed capacity of 102 MW, with annual average production of 467 GWH.

Eiriksdal and Makkoren

Statkraft is developing constructing two new power plants in the Høyanger-area: Eiriksdal and Makkoren. The plans, which include major environmental improvements from the existing power plant scheme, are a result of close dialogue with local authorities, environmental organizations and stakeholders.

Sheringham Shoal

The UK authorities have given Statkraft and Statoil the all-clear to build the UK’s fourth largest offshore wind farm 20 kilometres north of the coastal town of Sheringham. This diamond-shaped wind farm will cover approx. 35 square kilometres. It will comprise 88 wind turbines with a combined capacity of 318 MW.
