Our gas-fired power plants

Statkraft is involved in the construction of three gas power projects - one in Norway and two in Germany. All projects was completed autumn 2007. 

Kårstø

Naturkraft's gas-fired power plant at Kårstø, Norway, was opened 1 November. Naturkraft is owned by Statkraft and StatoilHydro, each holding a 50 percent stake.

 

Knapsack

King Harald of Norway opened Knapsack gas power plant in Germany 17 October 2007.

Herdecke

Statkraft and the German energy company Mark-E has build a new and modern gas-fired power plant (CCGT) in Herdecke, Germany.
