Roles
The Innovation Department will often play a key role in either managing the work or closely following up the party/parties who are responsible for idea investigation. External parties may also play a key role in this context.

Financing
The Innovation Department can provide funds to finance this work, possibly in combination with external financing. Financing may also be provided through direct funding from a specific business area at Statkraft.

Who decides?
The decision-making body at this stage in the process will depend on the type of investment in question, ownership of the future solution and other authorities.
