Master of Science in Leadership and Organisational Psychology at BI Norwegian Business School in Oslo

I have worked with HR in the multinational oil service company Technip, both during and after my master’s studies, and I have possessed a variety of student leader positions during my studies. I have also previously been employed as a ballet dancer in the Norwegian National Ballet.

Which unit do you work in?
I am employed in Corporate HR, which is one of Statkraft’s support functions at corporate level. The Corporate HR unit in Statkraft is responsible for the group policies and development initiatives for HR in Statkraft, as well as HR management support and selected HR services for the CEO and Corporate Management.

How is your trainee plan (rotations)?
I worked with Employer Branding and Organizational change during my first rotation in Corporate HR. Then I rotated to the Development and HR unit within the Power Generation business area, where I worked with Strategic Workforce Planning and Workforce Utilization, both at strategic and operational level. I also got to experience the daily life working at the regional office in Dalen and at Maintenance Group Vinje in southern Norway. My third rotation was in Corporate Strategy, where I worked on market analyses and co-wrote Statkraft’s updated Strategic Platform for 2017. My fourth and final rotation is in my home unit Corporate HR, where I will work on a major Organizational change process.

What attracted you to Statkraft?

To me, Statkraft represents the ideal employer: a large and important company that is rooted in Norwegian values and history, that has growing operations in a number of different countries and in a variety of renewable technologies. I applied for this specific trainee position in Corporate HR because the profile was very well aligned with my personality and professional ambitions. I find it truly meaningful and rewarding to work with renewable energy, aiming to solve the climate challenges in a competent, responsible and innovative way, and I look forward to build my career in Statkraft as a company.
