The plant has an installed capacity of 125.0 MW and uses a total head of approximately 40 metres.
The powerhouse has two Francis turbines which receive water from two penstocks which are 85 metres long and 6.30 metres in diameter.
A 51 metre high rolled compacted concrete dam holds a reservoir of 19.2 square kilometres.
