Monjolinho hydropower plant is located on the Passo Fundo river on Rio Grande do Sul State near de border with Santa Catarina State in Brazil.

Ownership: 100 % owned by Statkraft Energias Renováveis, which is 81.3 % owned by Statkraft

The power plant has an installed capacity of 74 MW and uses a total head of approximately 61 metres.

The power house has two Francis turbines which receive water by two forced tunnels, 110 metres long and 3.85 metres in diameter.

An 80 metres high concrete face rockfill dam holds a reservoir of 546 hectars.
