Passos Maia hydropower plant is located on the Chapecó River, west in State Santa Catarina in Brazil.

The power plant has an installed capacity of 25 MW and uses a total head of 80 metres.
The powerhouse has two Francis turbines which receive water by two tunnels that together are 1100 metres long, 5.5 metres in diameter.
The dam is a 29 metre high rolled compacted concrete dam and holds a reservoir of 175 hectars.
