Santa Rosa II hydropower plant is located on the Rio Grande River, a tributary of the Paraíba do Sul River in the State of Rio de Janeiro in Brazil.
Ownership: 100 % owned by Statkraft Energias Renováveis, which is 81.3 % owned by Statkraft
Production: 149.5 GWh
Power: 30 MW
The power plant has an installed capacity of 30 MW and uses a total head of approximately 125 metres.
The power house has three Francis turbines which receive water by a 4300 metres long tunnel, 5.5 metres in diameter.
The dam is a 38 metres high rolled compacted concrete dam and holds a reservoir of 65 hectars.
