The run-of-river hydropower plant Dörverden is located along the Weser River in Lower Saxony in Germany.

The power plant was commissioned in 1914 and has an installed capacity of 4.2 MW. Statkraft took over the run-of-river hydropower plant from E.ON at the beginning of 2009.

The Dörverden plant has four turbines and the yearly average electricity generation amounts to approximately 22 GWh.

Dörverden is the operating office of all middle Weser run-of-river hydropower plants. All relevant operations are initiated from this location.

The central control room for monitoring the run-of-river hydropower plants in the Weser, Werra, Fulda, Hunte and Eder rivers is located in the pumped-storage power plant Erzhausen.
