Malana hydropower plant utilises the water from the Malana river, a tributary of the Parbati and Beas rivers in the Kullu valley in India.

Ownership: 49 %
Production: 338 GWh
Power: 108 MW

Water is collected at the plant’'s intake and then transferred via an underground headrace tunnel and steel surface penstock into the powerhouse at Chauki village.

Power is transmitted to the Himachal Pradesh State'’s Bajaura connection point via a high voltage transmission line built by the plant.
