Brokke power plant is located in Valle Municipality in Aust-Agder County.

Ownership: Statkraft is an indirect co-owner through its ownership in Skagerak Energi and Agder Energi
Production: 1462 GWh
Power: 328 MW

The plant uses a height of fall of 303 metres from Lake Botsvatnet, which is regulated between 591 and 491 metres above sea level.

Lake Botsvatnet is supplied with water from Holen power plant. It also draws water from 11 rivers and stream intakes. From Lake Botsvatnet water is transferred through a 31-kilometre-long service tunnel to Brokke power plant.

Brokke is one of Norway's largest power plants. Three of the four generating units were commissioned in the period 1964-1965.  The last generating unit began operation in 1976.

All the units are equipped with Francis turbines producing a total of 328 MW.

Through its ownership in Skagerak Energi AS and Agder Energi AS, Statkraft is co-owner of this power plant. Otra Kraft DA is responsible for daily operations, and manages the licences and obligations in terms of river management and regulating of the watercourse.
