Hove power plant is located in Vik Municipality in Sogn og Fjordane County.
Ownership: 88 %
Production: 369 GWh
Power: 68 MW
The plant uses a height of fall of 318 metres from the intake reservoir in the Ovrisdalen Valley. The power plant is equipped with two Francis turbines.
The plant releases its water into the Vikja River, regulating the river in the process. In the section of the river where salmon migrate, water flow is somewhat reduced due to the operation of the power plant.
After upgrading the generating units around 2008, the installed capacity of the power plant is 68 MW.
The power plant was commissioned in 1969.
