Form block
Used when you want to set up a form that users can fill in. The submitted forms will be sent to an email address of your choosing.

Can be used on any Standard page, Start page, Map page, Article/press page

First, set up a Form Block and then add a form container inside. In the form container, you can add as many form elements as you like (e.g. name, date phone number)

When you create a Form block, you add a Form Container when you click "create a new block". You can also create a Form container in the Media Library under Forms. Just click the + sign in the left-hand corner of the menu. If you've created your Form Container in the Media Library you can just drag and drop it to your Form block.

In the Rentention Policy Tab in the Form Container you can fill in how long the form should be active and how long the data you collect will be saved (remember to check GDPR compliance with data retention rules in EU countries).

In the Settings tab, you can choose if you want Episerver to send an email whenever a user submits a form, as well as where the submission will be stored.

Fill in a Title, Description, Confirmation message and chose a page you want to display after submission. You can also choose to display a summary of the form for the user - then you just tick off the check box.

You can also choose to show a Confirmation message/text after submission - just write your text in the text area. This message is only shown if you leave Display page after submission empty.

Use the check boxes to decide different options e.g. if you allow forms to be anonymous, multiple submission ect.

In the Form Container, you create the Form Elements. You can drag and drop them from your Media Library or click browse.

You have multiple Form Elements to choose from. Collect the Form Elements you want and drag and drop them in the right order. Every Form Element contains different options - you can customise text, what is mandatory to fill in, ect.

At the end of you form you can add an Action Element. They are placed at the bottom of the page when you click browse in the Form Elements container.
