New members of the board of Statkraft

CEO Gunn Wærsted and consultant Olav Fjell were elected to the board of directors of Statkraft SF and Statkraft AS at an ordinary corporate meeting of Statkraft SF. They will be replacing Rebecca Selvik and Erik Nygaard, who are resigning from the board.

Gunn Wærsted is the chief executive officer of Sparebank 1 Gruppen and the board chair of its subsidiaries. She is also the board chair of BI Norwegian School of Management and Ferd Holding AS.

Consultant Olav Fjell has held a number of top management positions in Norwegian companies. He has served as chief financial officer of the former Kongsberg Våpenfabrikk, group executive vice president of DnB, chief executive officer of Postbanken and chief executive officer of Statoil. Fjell is currently the board chair of the Lindorff Group AB.
