Tanvi, Trainee Hydrogen
“I’m motivated by building a smarter and greener energy system.”
Why did you choose the Statkraft International Trainee Programme?
I have a master’s degree in International Energy from Sciences Po in Paris and a bachelor’s degree in International Relations from King’s College London. I wanted to learn how to navigate complex and highly uncertain future energy markets in a way that allows sustainable business decisions to be made today.
Tell us about your trainee experience so far!
My home unit at Statkraft is the Hydrogen team where I work on commercial and regulatory aspects of the hydrogen business development.
I have been on rotation in Statkraft’s Central Power Dispatch and worked with the team handling the Nordic Intraday Market. I’m currently on my final rotation in Corporate Strategy.
The best part has been getting to know so many knowledgeable and passionate people working in different areas across the company – and seeing how the trainee group itself has gradually become a mini-network that reflects this wide range of knowledge and experience.
What do you bring with you from the program to your professional career?
New and improved skills, a wide internal network and a deeper understanding of Statkraft’s business and role in the global energy transition.
