Nellai solar park
Nellai solar park is a 55 MW (AC) and 76 MW (DC) project located at Ettanakulam village in Manur Taluk in Tirunelveli district in the state of Tamil Nadu in India.
The site is located at Ettanakulam village, which receives abundant sunlight and enough wind to make it suitable for locating solar and wind power plants.
The solar power plant is commissioned with photovoltaic modules with a total capacity of 76 MWp. A 230 KV transmission line with a length of 2.5 kilometres connects the plant to the nearest transmission utility grid, TANTRANSCO.
Nellai solar plant will generate an estimated 124 GWh annually.
