Our application process  

We believe hiring should be respectful, inclusive, and efficient. Our recruitment process typically takes around 8 weeks, allowing us to carefully review applications,conduct interviews, and ensure a positive experience for everyone.

To apply for a role at Statkraft, please submit your application exclusively through our online careers portal by clicking the ‘Apply now’ button on the relevant job posting. If you have your documents ready, the application process takes approximately five minutes. 

2. Interviews and work-related assessments


If your profile aligns with the role requirements, you will be invited to an initial interview. Most recruitment processes at Statkraft involve multiple interview rounds to ensure a fair and thorough evaluation. 

3. Background check

As Statkraft operates critical infrastructure and services across several countries, we are required to conduct background and reference checks before extending any employment offers. This step ensures the safety, compliance, and integrity of our operations.

4. Offer and outcome

Once the recruitment process is complete, all candidates will be informed of the outcome. If you receive an offer, we will work with you to agree on a suitable start date.
