Relevant experience 

Pål Eitrheim joined from his position as Executive Vice President for Renewables at Equinor. He began his career at Equinor in 1998 and has held a number of key leadership roles within the company — including positions in Azerbaijan, Washington D.C., the CEO’s office, and in corporate strategy. He has also led Equinor’s upstream operations in Brazil and served as Senior Vice President for Procurement. 

Eitrheim holds a degree in Comparative Politics from the University of Bergen and has also studied at University College Dublin in Ireland. He is a board member of the Confederation of Norwegian Enterprise (NHO), Renewables Norway, and Veidekke ASA.
