Santa Rosa II hydropower plant

Santa Rosa II hydropower plant is located on the Rio Grande river in the state of Rio de Janeiro.

The power plant has a total head of approximately 125m and the powerhouse is equipped with three Francis turbines, which receive water through a 4,300m long tunnel, 5.5m in diameter. The RCC dam is 38m high.
