Status Solar Park: Under Development

Zonneweide Arrasveldweg will cover approximately 7 hectares and will annually produce approximately 6.9 MWh of sustainable energy. This is sufficient for the electricity consumption of approximately 2000 households. The solar meadow will thus make a substantial contribution to making Winterswijk's energy supply more sustainable.

The Vicarie Sancti Nicolai foundation owns the De Batenborgh estate on which the solar panels will be installed. In order to improve the exploitation of the estate and foundation, to contribute to the climate objectives and to improve natural values, cooperation has been sought with Statkraft for the development of a solar meadow on agricultural land.
